The food is delicious!
I think the food is fine at best, but the service is exceptional. The fried fish is 10/10, but everything else I've had has just been fine. The fried chicken desperately needs more seasoning. It was just breading and chicken. The sides are fine, but they are nothing exciting. The service, however, has been outstanding every time. They make you feel welcome for sure! If the food was more seasoned, this would be a hidden gem. For now it's a hit or miss. Also, I could do without the AI art on the walls.
Our first time here and it will definitely not be our last. Food was absolutely amazing! Perfect home cooked soul food and the service was great!!! The 2 young ladies that waited on everyone were so sweet and just made you feel like family. We will definitely be back!
