If you LOVE Hip-Hop, fitness and dancing you will LOVE Soul Fit. I am middle aged and have such a great work out each time. I have been going to classes intermittently for around 3 years. If you don't listen to any Hip-Hop or you are sensitive to language that is typically in Hip-Hop (yes, please for me!) , no worries! I’ve been going to Soulfit for years and I absolutely love it! The hip hop class is my favorite, but the other classes are just as intense. They offer drinks before or after class and they stay open certain mornings to provide teas and shakes as well. I like how you really can make the workout and easy or as hard as you want it based on how hard you go with the dancing. The instructors are friendly and they provide modifications if you need them.
I have tried the Hip Hop class off and on for the last few months. I enjoy the music and choreography but often felt that I spent more time on trying to get the counts right for the moves vs enjoying myself and getting a great work out. I considered it to be a high intensity (if you go all out) cardio work out. The instructors do not give you any count as to what is next...i.e. 10 jacks, 8 X, or simple 1, 2, 3, 4.... What can I say except the ladies here are amazing and they definitely give you a workout! Quick and easy way to burn calories as well as have fun while doing it. Being a friend, come alone, just have fun!
