Although the frame is unmatched, the components are subpar. My bike arrived May 2021 with many issues. If you are a cyclist you will not like this bike. Trying to peddle past 14 mph is useless as their are only 3 gears and the bafang software is inferior with the settings being very limited. I have other ebikes so I can compare. Even the charger is very cheap compared to less expensive ebikes.
I waited 18 months for my bike and when talking to Jim he said if I pay via Venmo he would send me a t-shirt and copper water bottle holder to save him the credit card fee. I have followed up multiple times with Jim as I never received the items promised, the bike was shipped incomplete without a headset which I had to purchase and the bike was dented during shipping. Highly RECOMMEND!! The bikes and staff are flat out amazing at Soul. By far the best beach cruisers money can buy.
