The food is actually tasty, however this restaurant is let down by many things. The portions are for kids, every adult (6 of us) left hungry despite ordering starter and main. The service is very slow and also a little haphazard as different waiters were involved throughout our dining experience and each one didn’t know what was discussed with last one. Booked a table for a large group for July 2023. Payed a �80 deposit and unfortunately the reservation was cancelled due to maintenance and after several voice messages and emails, no response is received. Now unable to contact Soukra as contact details appear to be out of service or bounce back.
Booked a table here at the start of July. Just turned up this evening to find the place completely closed. From what I’ve read this seems to be a reoccurring problem. Perhaps I wouldn’t be feeling so cross had someone emailed to let me know you’d closed, rather than sending me an email yesterday to confirm my attendance. This was a trip for my birthday with my mum and as you can imagine it left quite a sour note on the evening.
We had a reservation, turned up and the place was closed. No email or call to let us know, no sign on the restaurant. Disgusting behaviour from you Soukra. At least make an effort to let people who have booked know you won’t be bothering to open! And perhaps stop taking reservations? Disgraceful. Seems like a common pattern so if I were you, I wouldn’t bother, chances are they’ll be shut!
