I was born & raised in BxDale, First Section, left 1969. It was a beautiful place to grow up. There were Puertoriccan, Black, Italian, Irish& Jewish. Most parents were Municipal, State & Federal Employees. Parents had to be legally married and no Welfare. There were notable residents: Attorneys: Hon. Sonia Sotomayor, Richard Rodriguez.
