I had my front porch raised by a concrete leveling company in November because it was sinking. I realized in the summer the siding was starting to pop out because it needed to be trimmed back after the porch was raised. I called SOS siding repair. He came out quickly and trimmed to fit the entire bottom portion of the siding on the front of my home. He did a great job. I also had him put a new screen on my back patio door the same day. Very good communication, the finished product looks excellent! Was done quickly and efficiently. Even came out on the weekend to do some finishing touches. Would highly recommend and we will be using for any future jobs as needed
SOS Siding provided me an estimate for my house in Lake County, IL. He refused to take a credit card, and wanted to meet me in person to give him a payment in advance of the project. He was unable to provide a start date or even a schedule for the project. Upon further investigation, I found he is NOT a registered or licensed contractor in either Lake County OR Cook County. This is very sketchy contractor behavior and I cannot recommend anyone use his services because he is not properly licensed or registered in either of th... read more
Charlie and his crew are amazing. I had a problem with leaking down the side of my siding that two other companies couldn't fix and Charlie did. He was always easily accessible by phone and very concerned that he got the job done right. It was a pleasure dealing with him and he kept doing follow-ups until the job was done to perfection. I just wish he did other types of home repair!
