I’ve been forever dreaming to come here, and today it finally happened. We went in for one thing: mastic, which I’d heard of for the first time just last week while researching shawarma recipes. What a pleasant experience shopping for spices at this wonderful hidden gem. I’m no chef, but I was tempted to get a lot of stuff I’ve never even heard of. Some specialty things tend to be more costly, but I feel there’s value in getting it from a shop like this. I wanted to try one of their extracts, so I picked star anise and let me tell you, it is so concentrated. I placed 2 drops in a drink when I got the chance to try it and it was incredible!
