Do not recommend staying here. Booked for 2 nights, then got told we had to change rooms as the owners wanted the room we had booked. Spent the whole second day stuck waiting for the second room to be cleaned. Keep trying to contact anyone to see what the hold up was no one would answer phones or call back. WASTED two days and $600 for a big stuff around. Highly recommend looking elsewhere before evening checking this place out. Also NO water pressure in showers, hardly even get wet.
As an elderly couple, and having not being made aware, we had to carry heavy luggage from the underground carpark up 2 flights of stairs (as there is no lift on these premises). Upon opening the door to Unit 4 an unusual pungent smell was overpowering (and still remains 2 days later). Also upon our arrival at 4.30 pm the bathroom and bedroom tile floors were wet. We have just stayed over the Easter break in room 8. The room was very clean and very well appointed. It is a wonderful property very close to town centre and only 5 min drive to the beach. I would definitely recommend Sorrento apartments.
We stayed in February for 5 nights in room 7. We found the apartment clean apart from the dead huntsman on the outside flyscreen and the very dirty exhaust fan in the ensuite. The sliding screen door in the lounge has a gap at the bottom allowing all manner of beast to enter. The stove in the kitchen needs to be replaced with a more modern type. Absolutely disgusting neighbours in the complex!! Kept us up all night, stomping, banging, wtaf?? Will never stay on ground level again! People upstairs from us on the night, absolutely pathetic! Wrecked my holiday!!
