Dr. Shawn, as I call her, has a comforting presence, calm, professional, yet personable. Her office is welcoming and open. I sunk into her couch and we started talking. Her first words to me were; "What are your goals?" Finally. A therapist who wanted to stop wasting time and get to the gist of things. And we're doing just that.
