I was genuinely excited to try Sorelle after hearing so much hype. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, and the managers, hosts, and staff we encountered were incredibly kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the bar service and food did not live up to our expectations. The bartenders barely interacted with us, which felt surprising for a restaurant at this price point. What a great time we had at Sorelle! The triple story layout was quite different than I am used to, and it was clear that the design of each floor was planned with creative passion. Our dining room upstairs felt cozy, while still elegant. Our server Will was very friendly and attentive. The focaccia bread was brilliantly baked, and I do believe they actually obtained the world’s best olive oil, as claimed. I rarely leave reviews but this experience was absolutely incredible. Best restaurant in Charleston. Delicious food, great service. Make sure you go.
I’ve never smiled for the entirety of a meal. From the first glass of wine to the final bite of dessert. Absolutely impeccable.
