Every time I come to Sophie’s nails, I’m treated like family. When I first moved in the area, I went to Sunset nails first. On a whim I decided to try Sophie’s nails across the street, and I have not gone back since. The service is friendly and efficient. The last time I went there, I asked for a gel manicure with chrome effect on top. The ladies kindly suggested I just used a sparkly gel colour instead. $70 nail fill. Took 1 hour and 40 minutes. I asked for French tip keep the length.. we were an hour and 15 minutes in and she was still working on the shape. So I just said do the new base skip the French. I asked her to do a simple be design that she said she’s done before. She couldn’t do it so I had to skip that. She cut off all the links of my nails, you can still see my previous colour under my nails, which was a brown set, so it just looks like I have dirt and slivers in the side of my nails.
