Very disappointed with my experience here. I ordered rice and beans with a side of avocado. When asked if I wanted to make it a combo, I clearly said no — but it was still charged as a combo for $14.99. My total came out to $17.80, which made no sense. The portion was tiny: a scoop of rice, barely any beans, and half an avocado. Great food, first a great price.. every time I've been it's always been take out.
I ordered oxtails, beans & rice and plantains when I got home. I found the food to be delicious so I decided to go back for a 2nd round. When I got home & relaxed I decided to eat. I bought a large plate this time and I was very displeased with the food. The oxtails were dry. The plantains were dry and burnt.
