I’ve been here many times for the scalp massage and used to love it. It’s used to be $60 and included a mini facial. Now it’s $45 which is nice but no mini facial. That’s okay. The salon towels smell, and the service is horrible. My friend and I went in for a foot massage, and my friend was treated terribly. She asked the masseuse multiple times to go softer, but he didn’t adjust his technique and, at times, aggressively threw her feet. All they seem to care about is tips. When you ask for change, they give you large bills, so you end up tipping with large bills. This is my 3rd time coming to this spa for a foot massage and the previous two times have been great. However, this time my masseuse was way too rough despite me asking multiple times throughout for him to be more soft/gentle which he completely ignored and proceeded to be uncomfortably rough almost to the point of intentionally hurting me it felt like. This experience was anything but relaxing, it made me even more tense. I do not recommend. I almost ended my massage early because I was so annoyed
Bad deal. I felt scammed and here’s why… Nobody told me about the $15 minimum tip until AFTER the massage. The girl in front should have told me about their tipping policy BEFORE the massage not after. Before I decided on getting the massage, she made it sound like such a good deal. She told me that it would be $35 for an hour long foot reflexology massage so I decided to do it. After my massage I tipped 30% to my masseuse which is $10.
