I first met Fernando when he was engaged by my insurance company to inspect and clean/repair my chimney after a gas log explosion. He was very impressive, both from the standpoint of his honesty and his knowledge. My chimney was fine and did not need anything done to it. It was so refreshing to find such a straightforward and honorable person. He could have easily gotten paid for that work and no one would have been the wiser. Ferdinand just cleaned the soot out our wood stove and chimney. He was on-time, fast, cleaned up after himself and was a fountain of knowledge about chimney construction, maintenance and safety.
