Soonercare is the most difficult entity I have ever worked with. Does anyone in your eligibility office even work? Tuesday and Thursday they don’t accept calls. Friday I called and when I finally got someone to call me back they tell me everyone in the eligibility department left early for the day. Monday I called at 11 waited 2 and a half hours for someone to call me back. It’s only 1:30 and I’m told eligibility has already reached their max amount of calls for today. I called to renew my benefits and the person I spoke to told to do it online and hang up immediately. That is so disrespectful of the team. It is a shame to have people like that working for the government.
There is no direct line to the eligibility department. By the time the person transfers me there I have over 500 people ahead of me. When the automation system asks to press one when I want a call back it doesn’t work. After i stay on the line waiting for at least 2 hours the phone hangs up! I need insurance!
Miss Lisa at the SoonerCare helpdesk is the nicest person I’ve ever talked to. I called 20 minutes til close and she was still so kind, upbeat and cheerful, empathetic, and invested in finding a solution for me. I didn’t know where else to leave my feedback, but Lisa if you are seeing this, you are amazing!!
