The VIP was great but don't expect to see any sound stages. You will get to see a lot of sound stage doors and plaques of what movies were filmed there. The start of the tour is the Sony museum. Some interesting artifacts and props. You do get a stop at the coffee shop for a complimentary beverage of your choice. That was nice. You do get to see the Sony recording stage where they score every movie and you also get to see the Filter Foley studio where the do the sound effects. That was pretty cool. We had an amazing experience! We discovered how is the filmaking process and lots of interesting facts around it. We really enjoyed the sound stage and the Barbra Streisand one. The prop room was also a must going experience! And thanks to Emma for all the explanations.
We had Nico as our guide and he was fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. He made the tour as great as it was. We had done the Warner Bros tour when we were in LA two years ago, and I worried the Sony tour wouldn’t be as exciting, but I was wrong! Our teens loved it too! Highly recommend!
Had a wonderful experience! I wish we could’ve gone into more depth with certain things, but it was still a fun and interesting time. Our tour guide, Joe was absolutely fantastic as well.
