I had never seen such disregard for patients, relatives and such a lack of compassion as I saw from the “nursing staff” at this Sonterra Health Center. The nurses are detached from nursing patients back to health. The CNA assistants do most of the work. Some are good but most mirror the inhumane and detached attitude of the “skilled nurses” . At night, the place is greatly understaffed with an average of 30 to 1. Patients calls go unanswered, repositioning of patient not done. Calls to nurses station unanswered. Sad to say ... read more
If you have a family member or anyone you care about do NOT send them to this place! My father was a patient at this facility for approximately 4 days. He was recovering from COVID after being released from the hospital. He had responded well to the treatment and was transferred to Sonterra Health Center to regain his strength. On the fourth day we were notified that he was unresponsive and they couldn't get an O2 sat. on him. He was sent back to the hospital where he was subsequently put on a ventilator and passed away... read more
