I can’t believe this isn’t more popular. The SMART TRAIN is an absolute gift to the area. Smooth rides, CLEAN trains; on time and efficient. The line is slowly expanding, and I can’t wait to explore more territory. A blessing to the local economy; I’ve visited places that I otherwise would not be aware of. I hope they keep expanding-this is what Sonoma county needs; this is what California needs!
The train ride is reasonable, comfortable, enjoyable, and great to commute to and from work, shopping, traveling, without any stress. They have bike hook up's on the train. Super smooth ride, is it the air suspension? We find it very warm, clean, and relaxed. It is a little heavy on the green accents.
Man, who ever drives that train in the morning between Larkspur and Santa Rosa sure does love honking his big boy train horn at 5:30 a.m pretty much every single morning for no other reason then to just be loud and annoying. I'm assuming it's done to wake up all the homeless people and people that live in the halfway houses along the tracks in Petaluma. What other reason could there be?
