The Cloverdale SMART Train Depot is rotting. The building has never been used. The wood is decaying. It was built and the late 1990's. 26+ years later and the train still isn't here. An empty park and ride with regional buses that don't coordinate with anything. Because the train doesn't exist. There's a massive sinkhole under the tracks in Healdsburg. Work crawls along at a snails pace. Millions of dollars and still nothing.

I can’t believe this isn’t more popular. The SMART TRAIN is an absolute gift to the area. Smooth rides, CLEAN trains; on time and efficient. The line is slowly expanding, and I can’t wait to explore more territory. A blessing to the local economy; I’ve visited places that I otherwise would not be aware of. I hope they keep expanding-this is what Sonoma county needs; this is what California needs!
