Six years ago the former owner started the business here at 226 Water Street in Augusta, When he pass away in 2016 I purchased the business and reopened it in April of 2017. Most awesome rock shop of all time! There is something for everyone there. We spent 2 1/2 hours easily. The owner is amazing. She answered all our questions and was all around fabulous.

This is the kind of shop you walk into for the awesome rocks and crystals, but walk out with a sense of well-being and new friends to go along with the purchases. The inventory is diverse and prices are fantastic! The ladies who run the shop are just phenomenal and some of the best people you could meet. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

I went in today for the first time-wow! I was blown away at the selection-the prices-and the very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I'll be back again and again...
The selection of stones and jewelry was beyond my expectations!!! The price point is also phenomenal!!! I did purchase two sizes of the “smash your own geodes” and I think I’m addicted now!! They are gorgeous! My 4 year old is also in love with his stones he picked out himself as well �
The first time I walked into Sonny's.. I just stood at the door and looked left, right, up, down and all around.. I was welcomed in, I was told I could get a free tumbled stone from the basket because it was my first visit, and THEN, I was shown a room to the side that had sooooooooooo many boxes, drawers, and cubby's filled.. and I mean Filled with stones, bones and more stones.. what an amazing store.. <3
Amazing store and inventory, and the owner is so sweet. Will definitely be back!
