Sonny's was my favorite BBQ place when I lived in Jacksonville FL. Had not been to one in about 15 years. What happened to the food. Sliced pork was cold and did not look cooked. Fries were old and nasty. Cole slaw room temp. But hey the garlic bread was good. I don't send anything back since you never know what will happen to your new plate. I left almost all on my plate so they asked if I needed a to go box. Hard no.
Waitress was TERRIBLE. Place was not busy at all yet our waitress didnt come back to our table not ONE TIME. Another waitress got our check and to go box. She finally came back to take our bill and no she did not receive a tip. Food was GREAT
I've eaten at a lot of Sonny's BBQs in this one is a very nice one
Husband was thrilled with the brisket! Bbq salad was disappointing. Lettuce and a few shreds of purple cabbage does not mixed greens make. Tap beer selections were also disappointing.
