Well I think that the food is great especially the sliced pork,the corn nuggets, an the best smoked ribs
I eaten there a few times. When you order a bbq sandwich they never chopped the bbq enough for me. The cole slaw taste good. They have the crinkle French fries. The service is alright. The prices are too high.
Between all you can eat specials and generous portioned plates these guys know how to do bbq!
I loved the salad bar, the waitress was very pleasant. I took my husband here for lunch when we dropped out car off for a transmission rebuild by Alltech Transmissions across the street, we highly recommend both places, people are amazing. Remy helped me and Marco and he gave a great price.
If you order only the salad bar, the service is fine (because its "self serve"!). Otherwise, plan on waiting at least (20) mins for anything else! So if you get the " all you can eat, plan on waiting a total of (40) minutes for (2) helpings. Also, the bench seats arent bolted to the floor. So while I was eating the bench I was sitting on suddenly moved closer to the table! The person on tje other side apologized, but that should never happen!
Great food. I had a really nice chicken salad. The staff were very friendly. I will definitely go back.
Came here last night. Again Drive Thru. First I placed my order for 2 pork sandwhiches. Simple enough right? Well the cooks turned off the grill she says. Come on man... Really? Why take my order then to begin with and make me wait in line with another car in front of me. Then she asks me cause they cannot put it on Garlic bread if I wanted it on a bun..... Me and my family dined at this particular Sonny's and the food was delicious. The side dishes however could be expanded a bit more, open the door for some creativity but overall a very nice restaurant experience.
While at the Atl bbq festival I had a real southern treat which included, the mac and cheese, topped with fried Tabasco onions, and juicy tender pork, the southern style fried egg rolls stuffed and fried to perfection, and the miniature corn fritters. For a local bbq chain this place knows how to still keep their tradition going.
