February 9, 2019 - We had this Sonny’s cater our wedding with an I DO BBQ. The food was raved about by all that attended the wedding. The staff were wonderful and very professional. The appetizers (smoked wings, veggie platter, fruit platter, and cheese and cracker platters) were served while the pictures were being taken. The meal of 3 meats, 3 sides, slider rolls and cornbread were served with a selection of sauces, plus sweet & unsweet tea plus lemonade. They helped make our wedding a success. The food was ok... Later that evening my stomach was disgruntled irritated
Went there a month ago food was great went yesterday food was terrible don't understand its the same process food was tough beans were like they just came out the can
Waitress is very rude, very slow. Did nit get drink refills, took a long time to get ticket when we were finished.
Meal for four/qt. of beans. 4pm weekday ' Carry out , 4 customers -1 with chicken order for 100 people Beans - canned, but a lot of meat. Not thick or gravylike. Brisket - small portion but good Chicken - mushy with watery smoky flavor Ribs- no fresh or meaty, a lot of papery tissue. Pork - good flavor but extremely fatty. Sides mac/cheese, slaw, potato salad. - all OK Bread - 2 pieces burnt I would buy the beans , but the rest was a disappointment. The meats which are the highlighted menu item were not really special.
