In my own experience, this would not be an oral surgeon I would recommend. I had a gum infection that did not get better or worse in well over a year but was often painful. It was recommended that I see an oral surgeon. I had two visits last year with Dr. Porter. He prescribed a paste that read “for external use only”. Finally an oral paste for the localized area was prescribed and did not work. My second visit was for the biopsy but was only told that my insurance did not cover the procedure.
