Food and drink are fine but the service is ridiculous. Order at the screen, or mobile app and you will be waiting awhile either way. Waited over 10 minutes today for a mobile order placed well in advance... Service was very dependable a few years ago but has clearly fallen off. Then get served cold fries and told it was because someone placed a $100 order. Again why have the mobile option then?
Looking for a quick meal? Great! Just don't come here. I gave the benefit of the doubt after the first couple of times since I have been a somewhat frequent over the last couple of months (1-3x/month). However, more times than not, I am waiting 10-15 minutes after arrival when I expect order ahead to be faster than typical service. I shouldnt be able to go somewhere, order, and make it back to work with my food faster than I pick up food here at sonic, the closest place to my job. Very friendly customer service
I love Sonic! The burgers are the best of any fast food around Radford, imo. The big issue is if you go during any rush hour, like dinner, you won't get decent service. I clicked the button to order, and it waited 10 min and shut off. I went to the workers and they said to move to another stall. After hitting the order button again on a different stall, i waited 15 more min, and it kept turning off.
