I've been watching Songwood Contracting working on various homes in Gananoque for several years now. I always say hello and ask about the projects. The workers have always been polite and engaging. My front porch/railing/stairs had been deteriorating and approached Songwood in late winter. Theo and Heidi came to my home and a few weeks later I received a detailed contract. Quality of the work is great. They worked with us to modify the scope of work to fit our budget and our design requirements. Will use them again if they are not too busy. Took a while to get started because they are popular.
The team at Songwood Contracting did a great job with the planning and construction of a secondary unit in the basement of one of CILH's properties! Their level of transparency is unmatched when it comes to contractors, as they regularly updated us on adjustments to the budget, breaking down every line item through regular, virtual meetings. It is clear that the team is passionate about their work and that certainly shone through in the final product. Appreciate all of the efforts from Sarah, Theo, and the whole team!
