I never go here but I did last night because the other Chinese restaurant was closed. As I walked inside I thought, “oh gosh, I hope I don’t get food poisoning.” I ordered the pho and inevitably got food poisoning. The owner is really nice and I feel bad leaving a negative review but, it’s important for communities to be able to trust their food is safe when ordering from an establishment. The restaurant is very dirty, unmaintained, and smells like mold. The bathroom was disturbing and I should have trusted my instinct.
The food was excellent! Everything from the pork dumplings to the sesame chicken was delicious. And Connie, the owner, was so sweet and attentive! We'll be back for sure!
First off let me say that the staff was very friendly but that was the highlight of this restaurant. The facility is in much need of upgrading.The floors were dirty. The food was cold when it came out, it wasn't what we ordered and there was nothing authentic about it. I'm sorry to say that my advice would be to avoid this place.
Great home style cuisine! so delicious and hospitable. This is the best place in Taos.
It you want hot fresh food without pretense. This is your place. Limited drink selection, but the food was made fresh and served quickly. Would come back when in Taos.
