I can not say enough good things about our first experience at Songbird Parlour this evening. The service was genuinely friendly and spot on. From the moment we entered the space to the last of it, Ken and his team were excellent. He guided us through the food and wine menus and made perfect recommendations. We were blown away by the food. Quite frankly, Songbird is the best restaurant in Glen Ellen, and a major contender for best of Sonoma! I am a tough critic, a trained chef, and a New Yorker, and I can honestly attest that this addition to our valley community has made the neighborhood more valuable. The restaurant is chic and delicious, but the best part is that it is also human and warm...I have never not left there as heart-full as I am belly-full! Sorry to say we were disappointed. We ordered the salmon and the steak to share. The serving of salmon was small but tasty. The steak was not cooked to our specification so had to be returned. The second time it was cooked to order however there was so much fat we had to cut off. Sauce was very tasty but again, very fatty. The side of carrots were not that great. Our waitress was very patient in bringing us several wine tastings before we settled on one.
The food the atmosphere and the staff are top-notch. The pork chop oh my God incredible.. What I enjoyed most is that you feel like you're at a luxury catered event with every course. Truly a gem in Glen Ellen
Incredible restaurant and well worth the drive! Isabella was my waitress and she was fantastic. She patiently took the time to explain to me all of the dishes and paired them with tasty wines. I had the beet salad, ribeye, and grits followed up by the cookies for dessert. Every ingredient involved was impeccably sourced and came together for a meal I won’t forget.
