The front desk manager at the hotel located in Plantation/Ft. Lauderdale, FL, was rude, condescending, and dishonest. Avoid this hotel; there's other properties in the area that are equally good and with much nicer front desk staff.

A Corporations name and the service received at franchises or corporate run facilities carry weight and can in certain instances adversely effect their bottom lines. That being said, several complaints have been filed with CEO John Murray's companies Corporate office in Newton, MA. Sonesta es suites chicago magnificent mile/medical Hotel manager John Stephan did an extremely poor job of addressing issues with my stay. He sent an extremely dismissive and insulting email to me. He ignored the staff pushing me in the lobby to refill water at coffee station while I was getting coffee. He refused to address retaliation of his staff after Expedia informed them that I hadn't recieved VIP perks.
