Katie (the manager) is an absolute joy, just like the Woods Cove Inn. Stayed here for a wedding, and it was wonderfully charming. Some friends came to visit and while they waited for us to return to the hotel, she hosted them with delicious cookies and tea. What a hostess! Great location right across from a public access point for the beach. Has parking. Centrally located so that you can walk around for coffee and food. 10/10 recommend!!
We had an amazing stay at Woods Cove Inn! The service was outstanding, and Millie and Katie truly went above and beyond throughout our entire visit. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is perfect—the beach is only about a five-minute walk away, and there is a free trolley stop right outside the hotel. They also offer complimentary bike rentals, beach chairs, and umbrellas, which made exploring Laguna Beach and spending time by the ocean even better. Had a MISERABLE experience with this hotel. First and foremost, their customer service is absolutely pathetic. They treated my wife so poorly from start to finish. The real issue came after our stay when we realized they DOUBLE CHARGED us; and the second charge was for MORE than what the stay was for. When we called to work this out, it took over 48 hours for a manager to call us back. All they could do was claim there is nothing they can do and to "call your bank"..... well our bank has told us to take legal action which we... read more
Photos look nice but ultimately it's a motel with a whole lot of lipstick on it. The AC units are so loud you can hear them through earplugs.
