Dr Patel has been my endo for more than 10 years and through her vast experience with Diabetes and Thyroid knowledge and care she has helped me control my Glucose and monitor my Thyroid issues. She is very pleasant and very informative. She is not condescending in any way and spends the time with me that I need. The only negative is that her office is very far from me (more than an hour). I would highly recommend her.
Dr. Patel is an amazing, professional, caring and kind doctor. I have been diabetic and overweight for 21 years and in a year Dr.Patel has changed my life, my diabetes, my A-1C and I am no longer obese. She cares and tells me what I need to hear not what I want to hear. She is always prepared to discuss my progress and what needs to change before she opens the door for my appointment! Dr. Patel and her staff are an outstanding medical team. They care about you and show it in their interaction with you. They both make sure you understand what you are being told and her very competent APRN Shannon Burgos backs her up and sees to it that you understand and comply.
Avoid at all costs. I have never written a review before, but I feel compelled to write one here. If I save one person, the aggravation and frustration I have put up with from this doctor and practice, then I have done someone a service. Your labs continue to be abnormal; you are told the doctor will call you, yet all you get is a text that your meds were changed.
