I went to the ER several times this year due to blood loss caused by a large fibroid. The first time they had a OBGYN come in and tell me my only option was to have a hysterectomy, which is not in my plans due to wanting to have a baby so I refused. Later I find out they were able to give me medication to help with the bleeding which was only offered 8+ hours after my arrival and after I refused the hysterectomy. Do NOT take your family members to this facility! The Staff on the Behavioral Health Unit floor 4 will do nothing but violate patients and family's rights! The so-called professional are neglectful and cruel! Beware staff will act like power hungry little children verses a licensed professional. They act like they own your family member and how dare you advocate for quality care! Multiple visits, bloodwork, and...No Joint doctor to refer me to within Garnet Health! Huh? LMBO - Can't make this up...Nice PA and nice nurse but when it came down to the next step---I was told, sorry-Our orthopedic surgeon quit and went to a practice in NJ. -- This is literally the notice on my chart (I copied and pasted it: Outpatient referral to Orthopedic Surgery as Garnet has no Joint Replacement surgeon)...I was referred to a doctor at Crystal Run - and she is unable to see me...Back to Nurse liaison at Garnet, wh... read more
Was in hospital for 5 day s me the treatment could not have been any better!!! I was taken care of and not once did I have to ask for the nurse more than once!!! They are well staffed and every single nurse and doctor were pleasant and caring!!! Thanks so much!!!
If I could give no stars for the ER I would. They pride themselves on excellent and efficient care. I found nothing but the opposite. The one and only time I was brought there was for lower back, sciatic pain, hypertensive, hyperventilating due to the pain I dealt with for hours at home before going to the ER which I knew would be a waste. i do suffer with chronic lower back pain and Sacroiliac dysfunction. but all they saw was a woman on psychiatric meds crying with complains of backpain. The front desk staff and security people are by far the most unprofessional, rude people that I've ever met in my life. They should be ashamed of themselves. Thanks to your front desk staff and security, I will never ever step foot in that hospital again and neither will any of my family. Take care now.
Absolutely horrible place, the worst experience of my life I felt like I was suffocating in the room for so many days and hours shame on all of you leaving me like this I was crying and I was just getting stared at no sympathy at all only one god damn person actually cared and I honestly wish there was billons of them then just random people that don’t give any kinds of shi# please stop doing business you are failing saving kids and adults honestly wish I could give a -0 for this place work smarter not harder
If hell had a name it would be Garnet hospital. The level of y professionalism, rudeness of staff, incompetency of the doctors to the most depressing environment one could walk in…. A total disaster is Epidemic in this hospital, stay away to all cost.
