I like a fairly hard massage. This request was interpreted as wanting to be walked on the entire time. After 30 minutes, i asked them to use their hands, and they used the same technique as you would when applying sunscreen to your partners back. Plus they don't do skin to skin contact. There was always a towel, a sock, or a plastic glove between. Fine, but the towel limits to ineffective pushing, and the glove pulled out my hair.
