I am a long-time backpacker, car camper and CPAP user. I recently purchased the Transcend CPAP machine and took it backpacking. It worked great at 10,100 ft elevation. It used more battery power at higher altitude above the advertised 8,000 ft. Fantastic to get a good night's sleep after hiking at high altitude. I read the reviews and understood there would still be some noise with this machine. However, I like white noise and my husband can be lulled to sleep with the rhythmic sounds of my breathing. We both slept thru the sound which mainly started as I was waking up. This is so worth the money and peace of mind to not carry the bulky CPAP on my shoulder. I was very pleased with quick responses from Chris Mueller and Travis Steppe when I had questions.
Excellent customer service! Chris walked me through the features of the device and ensured that I got exactly what I needed. I wish all customer service was as good as his! He even reached out to my Dr office to get the referral for me. Looking forward to getting my shipment and not having my full size machine taking up 1/3 of my suitcase!
