I'm new to CPAP and this is the only machine I've ever used. I travel a lot so I wanted something that I could easily pack and have so far been happy with it! I currently use it as my every day machine for the last 3 months and have had no issues with it. I also like that I just need to change out the humidifier filters once a week instead of worrying about having distilled water with me when I am traveling. I am not happy with the Transcend because it is very noisy after the pressure ramp. I adjusted it to lower max pressure but it still wakes me up when it reaches full pressure setting. The noise is in the delivery tube above my head. I use the same fittings at home with Resmed and there is no excess noise.

I bought the muffler because it was supposed to make it quieter but it is so loud my husband can’t sleep and I have to wear AirPods with the volume up high . So much noise !

I was so disappointed with this machine. The whisper soft noise is far from white noise. It sounds like bad weather, intermittent waves of loud then softer sounds, not at all conducive to sleeping. I’ve been unable to use it and yes, I even have the dandy little muffler that does nothing to improve it. So sorry that I wasted this money.
