My second father! Doctor Sommer has been my doctor since I was a couple days old! He’s amazing and his staff is outstanding!
I can’t say enough positive things about Dr Sommers. He thoroughly explained and diagrammed the procedure I was having. He was kind, friendly, and informative. His staff is patient….you always get a response to any question and the outpatient hospital experience was truly top notch. I wanted to go to a local heart hospital because it was so much closer than NY. My local Cardiologist said “ Dr. Sommers has done so many of these procedures compared to the local Heart Hospital. I met Dr SUMMER and his colleague Dr Emile Bacha in 2012 was a blessing from heaven I had an ASD repaired he is still the best Doctor he is very nice , patient , very friendly and knowledgeable they care for their patients a good teacher if you have any questions ask them any time they will teach you the cardiovascular system functions/problems real good. Dr SUMMER always make sure he returns your call regardless of his busy schedule. The best Doctor ever. May God bless you guys. 🙏
Dr. Sommer has many excellent reviews so my negative view may get dismissed, but I want women patients especially to know that Dr. Sommer is a patronizing and misogynistic bully and dismissive of women who ask relevant questions regarding a heart procedure. I consulted Dr. Sommer at the recommendation of a neurologist regarding PFO closure surgery.
