Something ordinary I recently purchased appetizers for a party from Something Classic. I expected to be overcharged a bit based on what I had heard from friends, but I was in a bind. When I arrived to pick them up, they weren't quite ready. Once I got home and put them on serving trays I was pleased at how they looked. Once the party began I tried an assortment of them. I can honestly say that I could have gone to Costco and gotten teh same quality. NOTHING tasted home-made.
Poor communication I contracted something classic to cater my upcoming wedding. I was very pleased with the service of my first event stylist Joy. However, I attempted to contact Joy a couple months later to change some aspects of my menu. Joy never returned my emails or phone calls. Weeks later, Vicki contacted me saying Joy left the company and she was my new planner. She said I should wait to make changes to my menu because I had plenty of time. Then a couple months later I was contacted by yet another stylist since, Vick... read more
Unprofessional We were required to use Something Classic as our catering company though our reception venue for our October 2011 wedding. We met with Jill ahead of time to pick our entrees although that was a waste of time because she decided to serve whatever she wanted anyways. As the bride I was brought the wrong dinner entree, Jill and her staff set the smoke alarm off in the kitchen at our venue so we all had to exit the building for 30 minutes which delayed our reception, the chicken entree was not even close to what w... read more
Delicious Cakes I've visited Something Classic as a lunch place and haven't used the catering service. I've found it to be a wonderful place to pick up a fresh salad or sandwich, with a wonderful slice of cake on the side. In fact, their carrot cake is to die for, and I've purchased them for several parties.
