Friend fell out of bed three times, had half her skull removed due to a brain aneurysm , only 40 years old, recovering and they still wouldn't put up side rails, said it was illegal which is not true, per health department and next 3 nursing homes had them. They took no precautions to fix the problem, lied did not monitor her at all, everytime I went to visit she was halfway off the bed. Somerset Subacute Care is a truly supportive and attentive facility. The staff is patient, and very dedicated to helping each patient feel safe and cared for. The team works together with families and provides steady support throughout the recovery journey. If your loved one needs a higher level of care, Somerset is a place where they will be in good hands.
I’m pretty skeptical about the care at this nursing home, my grandmother has been here since June 2025 and originally she was doing pretty good, but over the months her condition has deteriorated with multiple hospital stays since then and bad pressure wounds found on her that we don’t know were properly cared for, not to mention she also contracted MRSA & C auris here.
