They charge you $100 to do "background checks, credit checks etc" to apply but will deny you without giving any reason. Do they even do these checks or do they just take your money, make you wait a week, and then say "denied"? Tried contacting umh several times for a valid reason but have not heard back but had no problem getting a hold of them when I was giving them money. Beware.

Had a miserable time with the application process. No matter what we did they always claimed that someone had already applied for every unit after telling us that they we available. The property manger continued to string us along for well over a month with false promises. She kept changing her story and would never admit to telling any false information.
Property manager is absolutely ABYSMAL to work with. She is self-righteous and refuses to believe she is capable of making mistakes. Throughout the process of renting she misled us at every conceivable turn and lied through her teeth in every interaction. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!
