My daughter is entering her 5th year here. She is Duel Enrollment with IRSC, and has done very well in her grades for both high school and college classes. The way they split the classes by semester is great and allows kids to focus on less subjects at a time for studying and homework. It’s not always sunshine and rainbows, but what school is? My only saving grace at this school is that the dual enrollment exist (if you don’t know the steps, no one will help you). Had to figure it out myself. The good teachers all left this summer, I cringe at who the fresh out of high school teachers will be. The administration, namely principal Rains, is completely unprofessional. She yells at teachers in the presence of students. Her video post looks like stuff you would post to a friend or family member. This year so far have been extremely stressful for no reason, and maybe my daughter last year at this school. However, I just wanted to say thank you so much to Ms Davenport (Assistant Principal) for your willingness to correct an issue and also your patience. You Ma'am is the ONLY reason I have hope for this new school year and pray my daughter gets through this.
