I've lived in Somerset for about a year i have no idea what people are talking about my neighbors are not noisy and when i lost my job they worked with me so i can pay my rent.... I love my apartment i really do..i have no rats no roaches and when i moved in my appliances were still in plastic the bad reviews really don't make sense
horrible – They are now under new management (started 8/2/2011). But I have lived here not even a month and I am having BAD problems. When iI moved in here my carpet were stained, refrigerator went out, stove burners don't work, and my front door knob just came off one day. When I called to report this to the office I was told, "That NOT having a door knob was NOT an emergancy." And had to sleep with my knob off. I had gone just about 28 hours without a door-knob. Apartment Staff Unprofessional – I just received a call from a collection agency AT MY JOB regarding an amount I owed Somerset Apts. They NEVER sent me any information in the mail or any other way regarding an amount owed to them. I spoke with the Asst. Mgr. Anna and she said I owed them for not shampooing the carpet after I moved. I moved out in Apr of 2011 and I still have not received any correspondence from Somerset regarding any amount I owe them. you pay for what you get, CHEAP. – The people at Somerset Apartments are very unprofessional. When I first moved in back in October 2007 they were bragging about getting a large sum of money to help spruce the place up. Today it still looks the exact same the only reason it had any work done was because of IKE. In January 2009 I decided to move out which broke my lease for the contract, I felt really happy to get out of there because it was just a dump, a hole in the wall kind of place.
