Somerby has become my home away from home! The old adage rings true here, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life!” So happy to be a part of the loving team that makes up the staff and so thankful for all my new pseudo grandparents <3 — with Teresa Layton.
My In-laws live at Somerby and we love how happy they are. The staff is wonderful! Everyone from reception all the way to management is so positive and helpful. The environment is lively with plenty of activites and the facilities are first class. Somerby has gone beyond our expectations and our family is very happy!

It is a lovely place to live, There are many activities to encourage socializing among residents.. The restaurant serves delicious food, multiple selections, and has a warm ambience. Caring, compassionate leadership
A lovely place to call home. The staff is very competent and anxious to please. The Chateau Restaurant serves three Delicious meals a day and has a good chef and wait staff. The residents are very friendly and it’s easy to make friends. There are lots of activities
I cannot say enough positive things about Regina Cervantes and her crew of professional caregivers at Somerby in Mount Pleasant. She and her WAYS staff have been providing help to my father four times a day for over 18 months, and they are always on time, courteous, friendly, and responsive to his every need. Even during our latest winter snow emergency they went out of their way to make sure he was fed and his medicines were given to him on time, every day.
