Dr Somer has always treated me like a Human Being. As a woman I have been treated with the : treat'em: and street them. I've always been treated with respect and genuine concern. My need and issues have always been listened to and an honest efforts are made to determine what can be done if needed. I wish many other Doctors were the same. I consider myself extremely lucky.
I have a healthcare background and want a doctor who is knowledgeable and listens to my concerns. Dr. Somer is a true professional - he is very thorough at addressing concerns and discussing potential courses of action. I have been extremely pleased at how thorough he is in reviewing my testing results and his follow-up with me. My husband and daughter are also his patients - and we are all very happy with our care.
I chose Dr. Bryce Somer after Dr. Montoya left First Physicians and I could not have made a better choice! I have been his patient for approximately a year now and he’s one of the first primary physicians I have had and there have been many. Dr. Somer truly listens to his patient’s concerns. Dr. Somer saved my life. I went to emergency room twice driving out the same way I drove in. They did nothing for the great deal of pain I was on other than tests and blood work. I went to Dr. Somer with even more excruciating pain thru out my entire body and he immediately knew just by my symptoms and bloodwork what was wrong and how to help. After trying to establish some sort of rapport with this guy - I give up. Been a patient for a number of years. But he doesn’t listen. After going in with pain and other symptoms he told me my bloodwork was fine and see you for a physical in 6 mos. He never addressed my pain or other symptoms. I guess if my cholesterol is good my pain is irrelevant. ?????! I won’t be going back.
