I've only been inside a Solvay Bank once for customer assistance. I found it to be a quite nostalgic modern point of view for a financial building. Locations seem to be found everywhere in central New York, being a local company like most other local companies in the area nowadays.

**EDIT/UPDATE** Response "from owner" was NOT the owner! The number given in response to my review went to a nice guy in the MORTGAGE dept!?! He had no clue how I got his number! The manager handling my complaint, never returned my call and went on vacation!! I had to repay over $300 for a "stopped payment" that solvay bank said they deposited into MY account that was not made out to me, nor from me!?! The check was made out to a company! HOW does a check, made out to a business, with a STOP PAYMENT on it, drawn off another ... read more

EMPLOYEES NOT WELL TRAINED! I have dealt with a number of issues with employees mistakes for months!! Currently, in a battle with them over a big mistake they made, that I had to inadvertently bring to their attention weeks after it happened! I have gotten partial, mixed, different and incorrect information from multiple employees (mainly N Syr branch) over time.
