I have been going here for three years and I would not recommend them to anyone. They have too many patients, push pills, and don't really care about what’s best for each individual. I was zombified by medication and pushed around from therapist to therapist with no real help. It was a place to vent my thoughts but I have almost completely weened off the prescriptions they claimed would help me; and that took a year to do. This place can and needs to do better because people with mental health challenges deserve their best! The executive director just lied to me on the phone and didn’t have the decency nor professionalism to call me back. I’ve been without therapy for more than a month due to the holidays and workers schedules. My father-in-law was going there for a therapy and they prescribed him Xanax after we informed them that he's had a previous Xanax addiction and now he has eaten the whole bottle and is in the hospital from a suicide attempt because of them damn Xanax
I want to start off by saying my actual counselor is amazing and is great at what she does and this has nothing to do with her 5 stars to her. The problem lies with the people who are supposed to answer phones. I have always had problems getting a hold of them but the last two weeks have been awful.
