uh. well i didnt die. literally out of the many treatment centers i attended SE was the best one. every single place needs constant work and adjustments, and while SE made mistakes and will continue to make them, but the humans at SE GENUINELY care. i went to abusive places, i KNOW how ugly treatment can get. but in the treatment world, solstice is the best you got. i know for most people SE was a huge culture shock and it probably was harder for others that were not in my situation. but SE gave me a hand out of a exceedingl... read more
a staff touched me in my sleep and then i got kicked out. idk what i did wrong but now i have to talk to cps. i love jen from cps. life saver. dont send your kids here they punish you for struggling by isolating you. 0/10 dont recommend.
I was at Solctice East from August of 2016 to March of 2018 & am excelling now despite what this place put me through. To start off, you lose your sense of identity. You are shamed, humiliated, isolated, & gaslighted. I was brought to Solctice because I had severe childhood trauma & anxiety. My trauma was never properly dealt with, in fact my therapist Becky continuously told me that I didn’t need trauma counseling even when a separate therapist Rob advised her that not dealing with it was a mistake. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. It’s been years since I’ve been there. I still haven’t been able to process what happened to me there. Please, please, please, never send your child here. Please. The things that happened to me there and the things I saw will stick with me until the day I die. Luckily, I was able to get help afterwards and I’m not a college graduate and have a healthy life, but that was after years of fighting the nightmares of this place.
