I purchased my Soloflex back in 1988, and I still use it 35 years later. The funny thing was when I bought it my mother told me it would be a waste of money because I wouldn’t use it after a while. I have had to change the bands every few years and I do usually buy aftermarket ones on EBay, because the Soloflex ones have gotten way to expensive. Overall, it is an incredible machine and my 9 year old son can’t wait to use it when he gets older.

I bought mine long ago. It was very hard to use given the thick rubber resistance bands. It sat in my apt until I moved. The movers stole the main back piece. I didn't want to buy another one, so I threw it away. Try this before you buy one. Buy one used. if you can. It is big, heavy, and well made, but it may be harder to use than you think. Total Gym is better if you want less wgt. and resitance.

I’ve had my machine since they first came out, in the 70’s, I believe… still have the receipt somewhere! I’m 72 yoa now. I use the machine three times a week. I use the butterfly attachment, 4 sets, 12 reps, one 2.5 on each side. I do the standing push downs, 4 sets, 12 reps, , 10/5/2.5 on each side. I do the sitting pull downs, 4 sets, 12 reps, 25/10/5 on each side. Obviously I’m not torturing the straps in any way! I’ve had to replace , within the last couple of years, newer straps that I bought. Today, another 2.5 str... read more

I bought my Soloflex used over 4.5 years ago. I use my machine 3 days a week, and I row 5-6 times a week. If you use the Soloflex especially having the ability to do pull-ups, dips, and other bodyweight exercises on this machine is simply incredible! Tell me another machine you can do those bodyweight exercises on? I have all the attachments for my Soloflex and an aftermarket bar for front squats and believe me the Soloflex is an exceptional machine. The real problem is many people get motivated to buy exercise equipment and... read more

Bought mine in 1987. Still using it today. I have the original box the bands came in and the original two-sided poster with the exercises. There is no better machine. It is indestructible. Worth every penny.

I bought my first Soloflex in 1990. I used that work of art for 2 years. When I moved I donated it to a Boy's and Girls Club in Syracuse. Loved that machine. When the gyms closed due to the Coronavirus the first thing I did was started looking for a Soloflex. I found one locally and bought it. I'm using it 6 days a week. I just need to get the organizer now. I have 2 friends looking to purchase ones now too. I truly forgot how great it is. It was resistance workout before it was popular. soloflex was way ahead of it's time. ... read more
