Solo Saltillo imports handmade adobe tiles that have been finished in a wood fired kiln. Our Saltillo tiles are made with adobe, lime (a hardening agent found in cement), water and nothing else. All of our Saltillo is sole sourced from one family of 3rd generation artisans, and imported directly to our showroom. James is great to work with, super helpful and friendly. However, his saltillo is by far the best that I've ever seen. About 2lbs heavier than your big box retail store and better coloring that results in a very nice looking imported Mexican tile floor 😊👍
