I was recommended this guy from 2 people. They said he could fix guitars. I called the number and it was apparently the guys nephew and he gave me the real number. I called the real number and whoever picked up the phone said he only builds guitars and that I was “very brave” to ask him to fix my guitar. Immediate red flags. Never went. Never will.
Joe Jesselli is the exceptional standard in the guitar repair and luthiery industry. Joe was a mentor to me almost a decade ago for two years, but his skills and lineage are the last of their kind for guitar players all around the world. He’s friendly, energetic, super knowledgeable with a welcoming heart to whomever walks into his shop. A blessing to the world of guitar treasures he is. Side note: it’s always nice to bring Jesselli a box of Joe from Dunkin Donuts once in a while.
