Update Mar 2025 I've been back to Sandy for a bleach and then another dramatic transformation. Again, I put my trust in her skilled hands and she met and exceeded expectations! -- I hadn't cut my damaged hair in 4 years and Sandy absolutely transformed me. She is so knowledgeable about the health of hair, not just the type of cut. I gave her complete freedom and she blew my mind. 11/10 will go back.

I was visiting from northern California and needed a haircut badly. So what to do? I googled hair stylists in the area and Solo Hair Design pops up with ALL 5 star reviews. I had to read several of them to be sure they weren’t fake. Well, they aren’t. Let me tell you, Sandy knows her business. I’ve been entrusting Sandy with my hair for three years now. She’s a true artist! I tend to like to change colors and cuts from time to time and Sandy always nails it. Brunette, auburn, blonde, no matter the challenge, Sandy’ color skills are top notch. And she’s helped me find the right organic products to get my hair to the healthiest state it’s been in years. A true artist and a gem of a person!

Very thorough work!! She did an amazing job evening out my curly/wavy hair. I find it difficult to get my hair cut for the different densities and curl patterns all around my hair. Most places just cut the same method for everyone in their chair. But she spent so much time making it the most personalized hair cut I’ve ever had! Even though it’s over $100, I find it worth it for the personalized work and education provided. A few weeks after, my hair grew out very nice and still even. Highly recommend.
