Dr Oushy is a rare gem - coming from one who works in the medical field I consider myself to be extremely fortunate and blessed to have been in the hospital for a subdural hematoma after a fall, when Dr Oushy was on call. He ended up performing a craniotomy in December and I can now happily report my brain is completely healed! Dr Oushy is not only a gifted and very competent neurosurgeon, but also has a heart filled with sincere empathy and compassion. Not typical in this profession… Would highly recommend!!
Dr. Oushy is a brilliant surgeon. When I met with him before my surgery, he patiently answered all of my questions. He performed the surgery with precision and care. When he talked to my family after the surgery, he told them : "It couldn't have gone any better !" And when I met with him for the post-op consultation, he was genuinely happy about how well I was doing and he again answered all of my questions. He is a very skilled doctor, with a wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend him !
I fell in March, breaking my neck in 6 places. I had surgery at Christ Hospital which was done by Dr. Oushy. He was very kind and very informative about what would go on during the surgery. 11 weeks later after following his directions I am ready to start PT. I have to admit that I hated the chest & neck brace that I was in but it worked. Thank you Dr Oushy for your kindness & surgical skills.
Would never recommend Dr. Oushy to anyone. My family trusted him with my aunt’s life, and now we’re left devastated. In my opinion, he lacked the experience and confidence needed for a surgery this serious. The whole situation felt more like experimentation than expert care. Absolutely heartbreaking experience.
I was fearful when I arrived at the Mayfield Clinic. The staff was very kind and patient. Dr. Oushy was not only very knowledgeable, but showed genuine empathy.
