This place in now The Record Krate and has a "Krate" new owner! Under new management, there are some great records, DVDs, Blurays, etc. there. And the DVDs and Blurays are only $1!! Check it out!

Awesome Store! Tons of Great Records, Cassettes, CDs and many more! Located in a fantastic spot right in downtown Wake Forest! Come check them out! They have a friendly staff ready to answer any questions you might have. Love this store!

I've been collecting records for 30 years. Stopped in here since it's closer than any other shop to my home and was really surprised at the prices. Expensive, expensive, expensive. I saw rundown, water damaged records being priced at $20. It seemed nothing was actually below $20. I saw a holiday record that was filled with a bunch of no-named artists from the 70's and looked it up on my phone to see it was selling for $2 on eBay brand new and here? $25 used and all worn. I went in shopping for records so this review is based on the retail side and not on the repair services provided by the business. I read one of the reviews that said there were great prices and that couldn't be farther from the truth. Every record I personally picked up was over 20 dollars, most of which were $25.99. The actual record players were between $150 and $300. I brought $20 hoping to pick up a few records and ended up walking out without anything. This place is under new management, and is a great place to shop. There is tons of vinyl - new and used, many titles under $5, as well as CDs, cassettes, and even movies. They're also now open in the evenings and weekends when I'm off work. I'm glad to have a full record store in Wake Forest.
